Daylilies and Delphinium

I've had a lot of trouble this summer with my daylilies getting eaten by deer. The deer just seem to know exactly when the buds are about to open; then they sneak in and the next morning - no daylilies!

I decided to do a series of paintings of the survivors. I've been taking photos and working from them. This is the first in the series, it is 16 x 20 inches and painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. Acrylic.
Now I can enjoy my daylilies all year long.

It can be purchased through my Etsy site.  It is $225.00.  It is Sold.

Pedestal Table and Two Stools

This table is made from a large pedestal that I recycled and added a top and a base made from the top of a stool. I found the stools at a yard sale and decided to paint the set with a sunburst pattern. The suns are marbelized in shades of yellow and ochre and the base has a peachy marbelized base. The background is a teal blue/green and I've added stars and spirals in copper.

Perfect for a small kitchen, a sunroom, or anywhere you'd like to have a place to enjoy a glass of wine or a snack.
This set is available for sale at The Joyful Jewel, a gallery in Pittsboro, NC. It is $275.00.  SOLD
