Several years ago I went to Chincoteague, VA and stayed in a house right across the street from this abandoned motel. The intercoastal waterway is in the background. I imagined how it was in it's heyday, before Chincoteague was all built up.
The next year I went back to Chincoteague and the building was GONE! Only a vacant lot remained [probably built on by now.]
The painting is on a 30 x 30 inch stretched canvas with staples on the back. Sides are painted as a continuation of the painting so it does not need a frame. Of course you could have it framed if you wish. Wired and ready to hang.
Available in my Etsy shop.

February at the Joyful Jewel
I'm the featured artist for February at the Joyful Jewel gallery in downtown Pittsboro. Here are some of my paintings, my booth, my featured wall, and a painted dresser with a marbelized top.
